His and Hers by Alice Feeney

I do love a good mixed perspective tale, and Feeney pulls this off with such style and finesse that it not only adds to the twisty creepiness of this story of ambition, cruelty and obviously murder, it elevates it to a whole new level of a cracking good psychological thriller...

Blind Spot by Paula Hawkins

My first Quick Reads book, apparently its a great way of introducing yourself to authors you may not consider tackling in a longer format...

...it was an ok read, the central character is Edie.
Edie is an annoying, self absorbed individual, living alone in a house on a cliff overlooking the ocean.
Edie is convinced she's being watched...
...personally I wanted to push Edie over the edge of the cliff on way too many occasions.

The Wrong Woman by J.P. Pomare

Daisy Darker by Alice Feeney

Feeney writes books like really good chefs bake cakes...
...by using only the very best ingredients!
She whips up a mixture of delightfully strong characters, allowing them to develop into a setting that is both unique and delicious in its charming, if somewhat sinister atmosphere.
Sit back and enjoy the ever changing revelations of the recipe that is the Darker family...
...this is one tale where you get to have fun peeling back the complicated layers of family dynamics.
