I guess I didn't mind this crime novel...
it has a too-invested damaged cop at its centre which should make it a cracker of a read...
...however I found Woodstock a very uninteresting and in many ways unlikable main character, I get it that we don't always have to like the protagonist, but I found her just, well insipid...
...it also dragged on way too long for me, the whole thing could have been much more suspenseful if it was wrapped up sooner.
